Unlike U.S. President Donald Trump’s announcement that the Corona 19 vaccine developed by U.S. pharmaceutical company Modena has been approved, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has stated that it is still under review and has not yet been approved.
President Trump posted a post on Twitter on the 18th local time, saying, “Moders and vaccines are overwhelmingly approved and immediately distributed.”
Earlier, the U.S. FDA’s Advisory Committee on Vaccine and Biological Drugs recommended the FDA for urgent use of modders or vaccines with overwhelming approval of 20 people in favor, 0 people against, and 1 abstention.
There were reports that the FDA would soon approve modders or vaccines as early as possible, but there was no official announcement from the FDA until President Trump tweeted.
Considering President Trump’s use of the word “overwhelming” in his tweets, he appears to have mentioned the results of the advisory committee in favor of all but one abstention.
President Trump has shown attention to the image that he is making great efforts to approve, distribute, and immunize vaccines.
