The Busan District Law conducts a substantive examination of the warrant of arrest for Mayor Oh who is accused of forcibly harassing subordinates from 11:30 am on this day.
On the 15th, the Busan District Prosecutor’s Office requested a preliminary arrest warrant for the Mayor.
It is reported that the charges of sexual harassment against another city hall employee, which was not revealed at the police stage, were added to the arrest warrant re-claimed by the Busan District Prosecutors’ Office.
Initially, Mayor Oh was investigated for forcibly harassing an employee in the office in April of this year, but the prosecution said that in the process of further investigation, Mayor Oh molested another employee before (November 2018), and the following month. It is reported that he has secured a clue that he tried to harass him again.

The prosecution said that the crime was habitual and that there was a risk of destruction of evidence, and Oh, the mayor was reclaimed for a preliminary arrest warrant after six months.
The results of the warrant evaluation are expected to come out late this night.
The prosecution requested a warrant for preliminary arrest on charges of forcibly harassing a subordinate in the office of Mayor Oh during the police investigation in June, but the court dismissed it.
At the time, the court said, “It is difficult to say that the case is serious, but all the evidence has been secured and the suspect admits the crime, so it is difficult to say that there is a risk of destruction of evidence.” The reasons for dismissal were disclosed.
On the 17th, an employee who was victimized by the mayor in April filed a petition urging the court to investigate the arrest.
