– It was found that a man in his 40s, who was accused of killing the driver by hitting the Matiz while driving a Mercedes vehicle while drunk, did not step on the brake at the moment of the accident.

According to the JTBC newsroom on the 17th, the police believe that Mr. A (44), who was accused of death under the Special Act on Traffic Accident Handling and drunk driving under the Road Traffic Act, was drunk and did not step on the brakes at the time of the accident.

An official from the Incheon Central Police Station told JTBC that “I asked the Road Traffic Safety Authority to analyze whether I was speeding or not,” answering “yes” to the reporter’s question,’Are you not even stepping on the brake?’

In fact, at the accident site disclosed by JTBC, it was difficult to find a’skid mark’, which is a slip of tire left on the road when a car suddenly slows down.

Earlier, Mr. A was accused of killing Mr. B (41) by hitting a Matiz vehicle on the second lane in the north port tunnel direction Gimpo of the 2nd Outer Ring Expressway in the Seoul metropolitan area around 9:10 p.m. on the 16th.

At that time, A’s blood alcohol concentration was measured at 0.08%, the number of license cancellation. In a police investigation, Mr. A stated, “I had a dinner with my acquaintances in Michuhol-gu,” and said, “I don’t remember well at the time of the accident and it seems that I was drowsy driving.”

Meanwhile, the light car on which Mr. B, who died, was crumpled like a sheet of paper immediately after the accident, and was engulfed in flames. The fire was extinguished in 19 minutes by the fire department, but Mr. B, who was in the car, could not get out, and he was taken to the hospital, but he died.

The police are planning to apply for an arrest warrant for Mr. A, and are considering applying the dangerous driving homicide crime under the special price law called the’Yoon Chang-ho Act’ considering that it is a death caused by drunk driving.
