The Crocodiles Hamburg will play the eleventh game of the young season on Friday – and will meet the Krefeld EV for the third time. The Krefeld team won the first match 7: 4, the second game at KEV 81 went 3: 2 to the Crocodiles. In this victory, however, the team around captain Norman Martens lost Max Schaludek. Now, around two weeks later, the striker is celebrating his comeback against his opponent at the time.
The Krefeld won three out of four games in these two weeks. The team of coach Elmar Schmidt was successful against Saale Bulls Halle (5: 3), EG Diez-Limburg Rockets (7: 2) and most recently against Herner EV (6: 4).
After three defeats in a row, the Crocodiles took another win at the Rockets on Tuesday.
“Tuesday was a step in the right direction. We have to start there. We saw that Krefeld should not be underestimated. They come with a lot of willingness to run, speed and, after the win against Herne, with a broad chest. I am happy that I can now help the team again, ”says Max Schaludek.
In addition to Schaludek, the return of Yannis Walch is also imminent. The defender still has to take a stress test on Friday morning. Adam Domogalla, however, faces a longer downtime. The 27-year-old injured himself on the syndesmosis tape on Tuesday. So, besides Domogalla, Dennis Reimer, Tom Kübler, Vojtech Suchomer and Rico Rossi are definitely missing at the weekend.
