Henry Borja dismisses Gina Gálvez:
The lawyer Frank Cerna Toledo was appointed as the new general manager of the Ancash Region by Regional Executive Resolution No. 273-2020. In the same resolution, the appointment of Gina Galvez to the post was annulled.
Cerna is an Ancashian lawyer, graduated from Unasam and with doctorate studies in Law and Political Science at the same higher education institution, with experience in municipal and regional management.
The appointment of Frank Cerna Toledo came minutes after Henry Borja Cruzado was formally notified of the regional council agreement that confers on him the mandate of the government of Áncash due to the temporary impediment of his predecessor Juan Carlos Morillo who is serving preventive detention for 9 months.
However, Borja Cruzado’s decision has not gone down well with the Huaracina civil society since they link the new general manager Frank Cerna Toledo with Vladimir Meza, founder of the regional political movement “El Maicito”.
In addition, it was learned that Frank Cerna Toledo has had a string of complaints related to the management of public resources in the positions he previously held.
Starting today, Thursday, the names of the new regional officials in the Regional Health Directorate and other dependencies considered key in the current COVID-19 pandemic situation will be known.
