Orange Madagascar alongside sick children and health personnel

Christmas is a celebration of family and human warmth. It is in this spirit of sharing that Orange Madagascar remains in solidarity with sick children while strengthening its support for health personnel.

Through the traditional “Orange Solidarité Noël” carried out every year by Orange Solidarité Madagascar, volunteer employees of Orange Madagascar went to three hospitals in Antananarivo on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 to bring comfort to sick children.

Children of Joseph Ravoahangy Andrianavalona University Hospital Center, Soavinandriana Hospital Center and Joseph Raseta Befelatanana University Hospital Center received treats, sweets and books.

These three establishments were also provided with hydroalcoholic gel, surgical masks, and pairs of latex gloves. In fact, in this period marked by the presence of the coronavirus, the health personnel who are at the forefront in the fight against various diseases, as well as for the care and treatment of sick people, particularly need to be supported.

“The spirit of Christmas is not necessarily incompatible with hardship. With these symbolic gestures, Orange wanted to offer a little respite to hospitalized children and to recognize the dedication of caregivers in these difficult times, ”declared the president of Orange Solidarité Madagascar, Josie Randriambeloma.

She wished to emphasize the importance of actions of sharing and solidarity on the occasion of the Christmas period and the end of year celebrations, through generous feelings, and under the emphasis of a value dear to Malagasy, the Fihavanana
