Job Description :
We are offering an internship position in the ‘Business Litigation’ department of our LYON office from September 2020 for a period of three months renewable once (until the end of February 2021).
Our team is made up of an associate lawyer and two associate lawyers.
The areas of intervention of the Litigation department are very varied (contract law, liability law, commercial law, company law, construction law, criminal business law, etc.).
You will be fully involved in the cases that will be entrusted to you and will intervene at all stages of the processing of a case (research, determination of the litigation strategy, participation in the drafting of acts, consultation, attendance at meetings. you, to hearings and expert opinions).
You will also be integrated into the life of the Bird & Bird department and Cabinet by participating in team meetings and company social events.
Profile of the candidate sought:
– Postgraduate student in the field of Business Litigation / General Private Law / International Law / Business Law and currently preparing for the CAPA;
– First significant professional experience in the field of litigation in a law firm or in a company;
– Required qualities :
o Solid legal training, particularly in civil procedure
o Double course appreciated
o Writing skills
o Good command of English
o Adaptability
