France 3 Hauts-de-France offers two shows: the symphonic concert Nutcracker by the Orchester National de Lille followed by the program “Staying a live“at the Grand Mix de Tourcoing.

The Nutcracker by the Orchester National de Lille in the New Century

It is without an audience but with just as much fervor that this great classic of symphonic music will be played at the Nouveau Siècle auditorium in Lille.

(Re) discover the famous ballet of Tchaikovsky in an original version played by theLille National Orchestra, led by the chef Gábor Káli and put on show by the artist on sand Kseniya Simonova.

Programme :

The Nutcracker, ballet-fairy in two acts (duration: 1h10)

The story is inspired by the adaptation by Alexandre Dumas father of a tale by Hoffmann. On Christmas Eve, Stehlbaum’s parents decorate the tree and little Clara watches the show enchanted. His godfather brings the gifts, including a wooden nutcracker in the shape of a soldier. Alas, Clara’s brother is damaging it. At midnight, when everyone is in bed, Clara gets up to watch over the nutcracker, who will transform into prince charming and bring the little girl to the magical land of Confiturembourg, the land of sweets …
