By the end of 2016, more than 5,000 people have participated, and tens of thousands have participated.”
Wang Xinwen said: “Compared with other sports, this sport does not require special equipment and venues. Participants only need to wear the national uniform orange “micro-horse suit” for running. The clothes are not expensive, and one piece is more than 20 yuan.” To attract more people to participate in Weimar, Wang Xinwen paid out his own pocket to provide many people with free team uniforms.
As more and more people participated, Wang Xinwen found that organizing hundreds of thousands of people for long-term running poses a high risk of outdoor sports. In 2017, the Baoji City Weima Running Association was established. At present, the association has more than 100 teams, each with more than 50 to 100 people.
“We have agreed to conduct Weimar twice a week, on Wednesday and Saturday, and there are about 10,000 people running at the same time.” Wang Xinwen said that the participants came from all levels of society, including many people from rural areas. “Now the roads in the country are well repaired.
