It is mentioned that the production of Watsons masks emphasizes “3 inspections and 9 inspections”, which will monitor the quality of mask production in various aspects.
Xiao Jianmin, general manager (marketing and business planning) of Watsons Industrial Beverage Manufacturing, said that Watsons masks, WatsMask, will be produced in March this year, in order to provide Hong Kong people with high-quality masks to prevent epidemics. In addition to obtaining the Hong Kong Quality Assurance Agency ISO 13485:2016 certification and ISO 14644 clean room certification, it also emphasizes “3 inspections and 9 inspections” to monitor the quality of mask production in various aspects, including: quality control of raw material supply in the first inspection; The comprehensive production line inspection in the second inspection; and the hygiene guidelines for transportation and retail outlets in the third inspection, and 9 mask quality inspections are regularly conducted.
Siu Jianmin mentioned that the brand welcomes and appreciates the Consumer Council’s mask test and will closely follow up on two suggestions made by the conference, including the need to revise the product label information, and suggestions and attention to the instructions for use The matter is more specific. However, the brand mentioned that they did not agree with the results of the synthetic blood penetration test proposed by the Consumer Council. The reason was that after receiving the test report from the conference party, they immediately arranged the same laboratory used by the conference party and used the same laboratory as the test mask. The same batch of products was tested again, and it was found that the masks of this batch met the ASTM Level 3 standard, and it was also consistent with the previous test results.
At the same time, the brand also commissioned 3 independent local professional testing institutions to conduct tests on the same batch of products above, and all of them proved that this batch of products meets the ASTM Level 3 standard.

HKTVmall: Mask passed SGS test
Regarding the test report on HKTVmall masks issued by the Consumer Council today, the factory has the following supplements:
1. The price of HKTVmall adult masks should be $65 (30 pieces), and the surface material is light green;
2. The result of the synthetic blood penetration test is quite different from the test conducted by the factory through SGS in April and November this year. In April, the factory tested 32 samples, of which 31 samples passed the test; in November, a total of 96 samples were tested, and the test results showed that 89 of them all passed the test.
The masks mentioned above are all the same and same batch materials used by the Consumer Council for testing masks. In this test, 32 masks are generally used as the test unit, of which 29 samples pass the test to pass the test.
