[국제]US film director Oliver Stone “Vaccinated Russia”

Local media reported that famous American filmmaker Oliver Stone was vaccinated against Russian Corona 19.

In an interview with Russian broadcaster Channel 1, Stone said, “I heard a lot of positive stories about Russian vaccines,” and “I got a Russian vaccine a few days ago.”

Stone is known to have been vaccinated while visiting Russia to film a documentary on climate change.

Stone said he would return to Russia for a second dose.

Stone has produced many social and political films such as’Platoon’ and’Snowden’ and interviewed President Vladimir Putin about 10 times for a documentary.

The Associated Press reported that the Sputnik V vaccine was given by the 74-year-old American director Stone, although it is currently only available to Russians aged 18 to 60.

Unlike conventional vaccine development procedures, Sputnik V was approved immediately after phases 1 and 2 prior to phase 3 clinical trials, raising concerns about efficacy and safety.
