Sherif Fouad, the spokesperson for the Al-Ahly Board of Directors, announced that it had been decided to start the legal and administrative procedures related to the establishment of the football company.
The council decided earlier to form a committee headed by Khaled Murtaji, and the membership of Tariq Kandil and Muhammad Al Damati, members of the council, to develop a comprehensive vision for the establishment of Al-Ahly Football Company.
“The council has previously decided to form 3 committees to discuss proposals and study Mahmoud Al-Khatib related to 3 joint-stock companies,” Fouad said in statements on Al-Ahly channel.
“Today, Tuesday, we listened to the comprehensive and accurate study submitted by the committee formed under the chairmanship of Khaled Murtaji, Tariq Qandil, Muhammad Al-Damati and expert Ahmed Shams, regarding the football company,” he added.
“After listening to the study, the council thanked the committee, and decided to start taking legal and administrative measures to establish Al-Ahly Football Company,” he continued.
“In the coming days, other committees will be heard regarding other joint stock companies related to tourism, real estate and the stadium,” he concluded.
The company aims to manage and organize professional football sport and the work of academies, and to participate in various events and competitions, whether local, continental or global, and to market the associated: «broadcast rights – sponsorship rights – licensed goods and products – products of cooperative marketing programs – advertisements and certification of Products – player transfers and secondments – New media sales – paid media programs for players and technical devices – academies – camps – matches … etc.).
