Japanese game maker Square Enix today exposed a new trademark registration, which turned out to be the “Chocobo GP” work that was liked by many in the PS era.
“Roger Bird Racer” is a work launched on PS in 1999. It is a racing game extended with the settings of the “Final Fantasy” series of characters, monsters, and magic stones. With the protagonist as the protagonist, through word of mouth, it is the childhood memory of many Taiwanese players.
“Coopers” once announced at E3 in 2010 that it would launch the sequel “Coopers 3D”, but this game was finally dead, and it was confirmed that the development plan was terminated in 2013.
This time Square Enix has applied for the English version of the Chocobo GP trademark andJapanese versionWith Chocobo Grand PrixJapanese version. Of course, we don’t yet know what SE is thinking. However, it can be reminded that the trademark application does not necessarily represent an independent work, and may also be bundled with the “FF” series, such as as an event of “FF14”.
