Despite the difficulties associated with the pandemic, blood donors responded present and in number, Thursday, December 3, 2020, at Carré du Perche in Mortagne-au-Perche (Orne).
More than 100 donors have come to offer their blood. They were greeted by volunteers from the association of blood donors of Mortagne, chaired by Martine Antunez.
Donor for 40 years
Doctors and nurses from the French Blood Establishment (EFS) took turns taking care of them for an interview with a doctor and the blood test, carried out by the nurses.
Thérèse (63 years old), who has regularly donated blood for over 40 years, confides: “I think that donating blood is a useful donation, which makes it possible to help all those who absolutely need it. “
Practical: The next collections will take place on Monday December 14 in the Octave-Mirbeau room in Rémalard, at the Carré du Perche in Mortagne on Thursday February 4, and at the Bellême college on Thursday February 11.
