– [속보] Biden wins electoral vote… 306 vs 232
U.S. President-elect Joe Biden secured a majority, which is a requirement for victory, without a dropout vote in the election of the presidential elections on the 14th (local time), and in effect made it clear to win the presidential election.
According to foreign media, as a result of the electoral vote counting in 50 states and Washington DC on that day, the elector-elect Biden secured 306 electors, more than a majority of 270 needed for victory. President Trump won the vote of 232 electors.
Four years ago, in the 2016 presidential election, President Trump secured 306 people and Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton secured 232 people. The results were reversed in four years to the same figures as then.
The Congress will hold a joint meeting of the Senate and House of Representatives on the 6th of next month to certify the state votes and announce the winners.
