VIENNA. When the Austrian federal government declared the first lockdown in March of this year, everyday life shifted to digital space almost overnight. Retail was not spared from this either. The associated digitalisation push is changing the industry permanently and is becoming a real innovation driver. Recognizing and grasping potential is now the order of the day. Because: A coexistence of digital and stationary retail is inevitable nowadays.
On December 15, Walter H. Lukner (Payback Austria), Sophie Karmasin (Karmasin Research & Identity) and Rainer Will (trade association) will discuss what is needed to be successful on the digital retail floor. Under the title “Digitization as a driver of innovation in retail”, moderated by Josef Mantl (JMC), they shed light on the range of opportunities and potential that digitization opens up for the industry – both for retailers and consumers.
The “Moving Forward Digital Round Table” will be broadcast live on Facebook from 5 pm. It brings industry experts in front of the camera and offers both exciting exchange and knowledge transfer. Further information on the program at moving-forward.com/round-table
