Former Manchester United defender Patrice Evra has expressed surprise at how Willian started his career at Arsenal, but supported him to eventually improve.
Willian joined the Gunners on a free transfer following the expiration of his contract with London rivals Chelsea in the summer.
The 32-year-old reportedly wanted to stay at Stamford Bridge, but the Blues were only willing to offer him a two-year deal, while the Brazilian winger wanted a three-year deal.
Michael Artetta and Arsenal delivered the experienced attack, although it was very interesting in the games against Fulham, it was difficult to adjust to life in North London.

Willian recently got on fire with some of his club’s fans for his performances, and Evra admits he was shocked when he started his career with Arteta’s side.
“I understand he had a bad time with Mourinho at Chelsea, but what a talented player, what an incredible player to watch,” Evra told Sky Sports Studios.
“I wonder why playing for Arsenal, you don’t have that kind of pressure.
“I understand why Arsenal fans criticize him, but he can do much better than that, he definitely will.
“Maybe you should agree to a new team. I don’t want to find any excuses, but I’m after Willian. It will do much better than what it is doing now. “
