“Animate in ECSI around environmental issues”
From April 8 to April 9, 2021
While the covid19 crisis has vividly illustrated, for all, the links between social, health, economic and environmental issues, social movements had already stated this evidence with their slogan: “end of the world, end of the month, same fight “.
How can ECSI offer environmental education that makes the link with social, economic and international solidarity issues?
For two days, ritimo invites you to discover and question the tools, concepts and pedagogical methods to animate in ECSI around environmental issues.
In the program :
Environmental migration, environmental racism and colonial heritage; land grabbing and resource allocation; food democracy; urban walk and cartography …
To find out more and register more, it’s here.
A second ritimo meeting is planned at the start of 2021 with the publication at the end of January of its new practical guide, “Ecology, a problem for the rich? “
“As more and more people around the world try to grasp ecological issues, a question comes up: is ecology a collective responsibility? Is consuming it polluting? And if so, are rich and poor really equal on environmental issues?
Individual guilt is often much more visible than the clearance of multinationals and the actions of certain states. This guide thus reviews the received ideas and the many shortcuts that surround ecological questions and highlights actions that amplify resistance and alternatives seeking to try to build another world and other forms of commitment. “
