The youngest of the 47 branches, which are called Meier Tobler Marché, opened their doors three months ago in Wallisellen. Roger Basler, CEO of the building technician since September, stands visibly satisfied between the frames. His company has around 6000 items in these stores that installers need for heating, cooling and ventilation systems and for sanitary facilities in residential and commercial buildings. However, these are only the most common parts, says Basler. The range of the online shop, the second pillar of the retail business, which handles around 3,000 deliveries a day and contributes 40% to sales, comprises 60,000 parts.
