Twitter has incorporated support in iOS to share ‘tweets’ in Snapchat stories and has announced that it is working to make this integration available also for Instagram stories.
“Millions” of ‘tweets’ are shared every day from Twitter on other social networks. The company even assures that it has “seen that there is” a tendency to capture and paste the ‘tweets’, “in order to post them elsewhere.”
Precisely, this Thursday’s update has introduced a simpler way to share ‘tweets’ on other platforms and “connect more people to the conversations that take place on Twitter,” as the company explains in a statement sent to Europa Press.
Users can now share their ‘tweets’ with Snapchat from the Twitter ‘app’ for iOS (on Android later). And in the next few days the integration for Instagram stories will be tested (on iOS, with a small group of users).
This is “the first time” that a ‘tweet’ can be “visually shared” in Snapchat stories – as long as it is not protected. Users of this ‘app’ will see the ‘tweet’ as a sticker on the Snap, which when touched will redirect to Twitter for the ‘tweet’ and responses.
