In Man vs. Bee Atkinson plays a man who gets into a fight with a bee while babysitting at a luxurious home. The 65-year-old British actor is also one of the creators of the comedy series.
The Atkinson comedy series is part of a series of new Netflix productions to be developed in the United Kingdom. For example, the streaming service also announced the football comedy series Red Zone On. Sam Mendes, known for the war film 1917, is responsible for this and is executive producer.
In 2020, Netflix invested $ 1 billion (approximately € 824 million) in British productions. That’s double the amount the streaming service put into productions in the country the year before.
