Following the Supreme Court ruling
Aldo Valdivia Vega, lawyer for the suspended regional governor, Walter Aduviri Calizaya, announced that they are already preparing the habeas corpus action that they will present before the Constitutional Court, since they do not agree with the ruling issued by the Supreme Court.
“With this measure we seek the nullity of this sentence,” said the lawyer, noting in turn that after the presentation of habeas corpus, it should be resolved within 15 days, however, due to the procedural burden of the judicial system of the country, it would take an average of a month and a half.
