OGC Nice is eyeing England to replace Dante.

L’OGC Nice having lost its captain Dante, victim of a rupture of a ligament of the left knee, the Brazilian defender has been operated on and must recover, the Riviera club seeks to strengthen behind, on the occasion of the next window of the summer transfer window. Among the players monitored, The Sun thinks he knows the interest of the Aiglons, the profile of Fikayo Tomori, 22-year-old, owned by the Chelsea Blues.
Fikayo Tomori to replace Dante at OGC Nice?
Useful and quick clarification which provides the rest of the context: it is not a question here for the GYM to definitively recruit the player, but to have him on loan to complete the 2020-21 season. There are (at least) two reasons for this: the first being that Chelsea care about him, formed within the walls of the club. And this, despite a low playing time offered by coach Franck Lampard this season. The other is due to the valuation of the player, which exceeds the spending habits of OGC Nice.
Under contract with Chelsea until 2024
Fikayo Tomori is indeed estimated at 20 million euros by Transfermarkt, and from 20 to 30 million, on the side ofFootball observatory. This is at least the equivalent of the most expensive recruit in the history of the Aiglons, namely Kasper Dolberg, for 20.5 million euros, in 2019. If there is therefore no question of a dry transfer, Nice would however have to bear the financial emoluments of the central defender, Anglo-Canadian. He earns nearly 65,000 euros gross monthly, less the associated bonuses. It is probably a financial story that envy between the two clubs and the player. Which is also followed across the Channel, including the Newcastle Magpies. Extended exactly a year ago (December 12), Fikayo Tomori is under contract with the Blues, until 2024.
