For a few days, World of Warcraft: Shadowlands has had its first raid, Castle Nathria. Many players saw the new raid directly and got a lot of loot. Too much, says Blizzard, and now nerf it. Players don’t like it very much.
What is nerfed? In a blue post on the official US forum, Community Manager Kaivax writes that the amount of loot in the new Nathria Castle will be reduced. Currently, players in a raid with 20 players get an average of five items per boss. Three were planned.
This is an error that should not occur like this. For this reason, there will be a revision for the kingdom reset on December 16, which will reduce the loot of bosses. So you still have a few days to get more loot from the new Season 1 raid on Shadowlands.
However, only “normal” prey are affected. Special loot that corresponds to your class, such as media or the total of 48 new Legendary Memories from Nathria Castle, are not included. They are treated separately and do not fall under the nerf.
Count Denathrius is the final boss of the raid and soon drops less loot.
Why is he nerfing? According to Kaivax, the raid awards too much loot, leading to an injustice to other endgame content. Nathria Castle is more valuable to players than Mythic Keystone or PvP dungeons.
If the bug wasn’t fixed, Raiden on normal and heroic difficulty would have a higher priority than dungeons with comparable difficulty or as PvP progress, according to Kaivax.
Less loot in the raid: are there any bugs left?
That annoys the players: Reactions to change are neutral to negative. Aside from the fact that some players got nothing despite the increased loot, others find the change timed incorrectly.
Wowhead user kaos95 writes: “It would have been a better idea to increase the loot on Mythic +. It doesn’t really feel good to get three boxes in five dungeons in a row and walk out without loot. “
This goes along with one of the changes to Shadowlands that reduced the loot from the mythical Keystone dungeons anyway. Additionally, bonus rolls have been removed in Shadowlands. Consequently, it happens quite often that players face a lot of dungeons and still get nothing.
In the official forum, users criticize that this error is given priority, while from their point of view more important problems are not addressed. There is a bug that prevents progress on throat and classes that are considered too strong, especially in PvP.

Will anything else change? Along with Loot Nerf, there will be more changes on December 16. After Castle Nathria was nerfed after just one day, more nerfs are coming for the raid. Schlickfaust is particularly affected here.
Also, many classes that are lower in the DPS ranking make a profit. You can find the patch notes for review on the official English website worldofwarcraft.com. The German patch notes are still missing.
