Immersed in the artistic world from an early age, Liyah began to perform very early. By moving from dance to music, his career was very quickly distinguished by unwavering determination, but also by a real attraction for American culture.
It was in 2012, at the same time as her studies in the field of communication, that Liyah decided to seriously enter the musical world. Interpreter, but also composer, she writes her texts since adolescence.
Texts, in English, that she sings, but also and above all on which she gives free rein to her incomparable flow, when she raps. The same year, she released under her previous pseudonym, Lydia Dia, her first EP entitled Mixtape of a selfmade woman. Characterized by the objective of building an international career, Liyah’s career has been marked by numerous trips to the United States.
Resourceful, she provoked a few encounters, which marked her career, but also upset her destiny as Dallas Martin, artistic director at Atlantic Records. These trips which have allowed her to record many titles, including three, which she released in 2018: Midnight Love, Mouf Do and Enough.
But Liyah was also part of the cast of the reality TV show “Les Anges”, which she integrated as “Ange Anonyme”. An opportunity that can be controversial, but which allowed him to meet new major players in the music industry like Dj Khaled, to gain notoriety, but also to record a single, entitled Blame it on me.
Today Liyah focuses on the language of Molière by integrating all his past influences. A painful childhood, periods of doubt, today she is a strong, accomplished and above all very committed woman who holds several strings to her bow, music, theater … Liyah has a single head idea: go after his dreams.
