Mexico Authorizes Pfizer COVID Vaccine for Emergency Use

  2. The New Molecules Committee met on December 11, 2020, where its 24 members voted and issued a FAVORABLE OPINION, unanimously, for its emergency use.
  3. Therefore, Cofepris ruled that the AUTHORIZATION FOR EMERGENCY USE of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine, in order to be used in the National Vaccination Policy against the SARS-CoV-2 virus for the prevention of COVID-19.
