The authors of the “Retro Widget” have launched a new version of their widget for those nostalgic for old Nokia mobiles. In this update, which now also works on iPadOS and watchOS, we find the game Snake II that you open with a tap on the widget installed in the home screen.
The 5 labyrinths of the time have been taken over with 9 levels of difficulty. You can play it on the Apple Watch but it’s still cotton to maneuver the snake with the digital crown.
As before you have 3 sizes of widgets which take the style of the time with the bar for the strength of the signal and that of the battery level. For the second info, it happens that it is disconnected from the real level since a widget cannot display real time info. As for the indication of the cellular signal, it is fictitious since it is impossible to recover by this means.
However, you can customize the name of the “operator” displayed (or keep the one provided by the SIM) and vary the color of the backlight which will change with dark mode. This little app Retro Widget 2 still costs € 2.29 and the update is free.
