The next top talent is about to jump to RB Leipzig. According to Sky Infos, Salzburg’s Dominik Szoboszlai decided to move to Leipzig in January after the last Champions League matchday.
Only the signature and the very last details are missing. However, all parties have agreed on the change. Salzburg’s sports director Christoph Freund was after Sky Info this week in Leipzig to negotiate the deal. All sides want to officially announce the transfer before Christmas.
Szoboszlai release clause at 25 million
The 20-year-old Hungarian has a release clause of 25 million euros in his contract with Salzburg. Most recently Arsenal, Real Madrid and FC Bayern were in contact with the Szoboszlai advisors.
The wing racer, however, has decided on the next, logical step and wants to continue its positive development under Julian Nagelsmann. Since the clubs in the Champions League can register up to three players for the knockout phase, Szoboszlai would also be eligible to play in the premier class.
