There are countries that require a negative swab in order to enter. Luigi Pelazza takes us to meet a particular travel agency in Naples that seems to provide its customers with ad hoc falsified certificates of negativity. After our intervention, the Carabinieri also arrive and close the agency!
Travel agency that also sells fake pads for Covid? Possible. Following the pandemic, each state has taken different measures for entry. Tunisia, Morocco, Algeria ask for the molecular swab certificate within 72 hours before departure. Many travel agencies also provide this booking service at the clinics.
Luigi Pelazza has discovered one of Naples that seems to be being sly. A North African accomplice of ours pretends to want to leave for Tunisia. He asks for a flight and the chance to swab paying only 70 euros for this. “We manage everything here”, Assure the agency. That is, without our hook actually going through a test. But to be sure he asks if he has to go somewhere: “It is not necessary”, They reply.
A few days later he goes to the agency to collect the tickets and the test certificate, without anyone having ever undergone the swab. So it’s all false. After documenting everything with our micro cameras, Luigi Pelazza goes to this agency. “We collaborate with a laboratory we accompany customers there”, They reply. But what we recorded in the days before says something else. Meanwhile, the carabinieri check the activity and find about forty certificates from the same laboratory. After the checks, the travel agency was seized.
