In the future, in Facebook’s Creator Studio, users could use a calendar to get a comprehensive overview of their posts and plan them in advance. The tool currently seems to be in the test phase.
For a long time, users have also been able to plan and publish their Instagram posts in the Facebook Creator Studio. After the announcement of a new tool for Facebook, namely A / B testing for video content, last September, Facebook now seems to be testing a new feature for Instagram.
As Twitter user Ahmed Ghanem discovered, as part of a test there is currently the option of viewing a calendar overview of all previous Instagram posts in the Facebook Creator Studio. The screenshot was shared on Twitter by Matt Navarra.

As shown in the screenshot, the Instagram Content Calendar can be opened in the dashboard on the left sidebar of the Instagram tab. Different types of post – for example individual images and carousels – can be differentiated using separate icons.
Plan well in advance – but not stories
If the new feature is rolled out extensively, it will be even easier for users of the studio to plan their Instagram posts in advance. Because feed posts and IGTV content can be planned up to six months in advance with the tool.
Small catch: Stories can probably not be planned and posted with this feature. However, they are still displayed in the calendar. Another potential disadvantage is the lack of a preview of the posts, which would make the calendar even clearer. Still, the feature could be a useful tool for planning posts.
