Soccer – Frankfurt am Main:Braunschweig receives BVB in the cup: Werder near Hanover

Cologne (dpa / lno) – Eintracht Braunschweig caught an attractive, but also very difficult lot in the second round of the DFB Cup. The second division soccer team welcomes Borussia Dortmund to their home stadium. Werder Bremen competes at Hannover 96, as the draw on Sunday on ARD revealed. In the first round, the Braunschweiger had prevailed in a spectacular game 5: 4 against Hertha BSC. Now it’s back against a Bundesliga club.
Braunschweig’s second division competitor VfL Osnabrück plays for 1. FC Cologne, VfL Wolfsburg receives SV Sandhausen. The games of the 2nd main round, in which 32 first-round winners will take part, will be played on December 22nd and 23rd, thus marking the end of a turbulent football year 2020.
