Freiburg (dpa / lsw) – Midfielder Changhoon Kwon could return to the SC Freiburg squad at the weekend after his Covid 19 illness. “Of course he’s not yet at one hundred percent, but he’s fine, he has no after-effects,” said coach Christian Streich two days before the home game against Arminia Bielefeld (Saturday, 3.30 p.m. / Sky) about the South Korean who is back in team training of the Bundesliga soccer team. Until his corona-related break, Kwon had played all of Baden’s compulsory games this season.
After a month’s absence, Janik Haberer is back at the sports club and on the field after a fibula fracture and a syndesmosis tear in June. Streich did not want to “speculate” when the 26-year-old can start training with his teammate again, “it doesn’t have to go any more months, but rather after Christmas”.
