Bungie, since its detachment from Activision has taken things somewhat differently with respect to Destiny 2, as you know, the Free-To-Play recently released its most recent expansion, adding new content to the Shooter RPG of these now independent.
But it seems that things will not end only there, since according to an extensive statement that Bungie he has published on its official page, have commented on what the future of Destiny 2, and one of its great movements will be to incorporate Crossplay into the video game.
An official date has not been specified, but they speak of 2021 and they have not given details if this Crossplay will involve all its platforms or only the console versions, the truth is that Bungie is already gearing up to deliver even more content to its loyal players.
They also warn from Bungie that things, due to the general conditions of this 2020, could cause some of their plans to be delayed a bit, but they will keep the Destiny 2 community active, while the new content arrives.
