Halo Infinite, release in fall 2021 and unveiling of a PVP card

After a presentation that got him a one-year postponement, Halo Infinite shows up again. It is through Joseph Straten that we learn more about the game as well as its launch date in a (very long) blog post.

A former Bungie worker who came to 343 Industries to work on the game’s design, Jospeh Straten worked on Halo CE, Halo2, Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST and Halo Reach, then joined 343 Industries in July following the many negative feedbacks during its presentation to the public.

The man therefore tells us that Halo Infinite will be released in the fall of 2021, but as you can imagine, that the game has been reworked in many directions since its presentation. It must be said that there was still a cut thing missing in the presentation, including worked facial animations. They have since been added, as well as the full panoply of ambient occlusion, shadows, volumetric lights, global illuminations, or even atmosphere to make the game’s settings more realistic.

The personalization in PVP is also part of all the attentions and the team is very attentive to the community regarding the changes made. In the process, several new images of the game were unveiled to show the progress made. The post in English is quite long, but several speakers follow one another to talk about different aspects of the game.
