In 2020, creative games and battle royale generated the most views on YouTube in the video games category. In front of Roblox, GTA V and Fortnite stands a juggernaut: Minecraft, which alone has accumulated 201 billion views, or double its total in 2019.
In a context of health and containment crisis, YouTube Gaming achieved its biggest year in 2020 with a total of 100 billion hours viewed. Behind Minecraft, Roblox also saw his audience explode, going from 29.6 billion views in 2019 to 75 billion in 2020.
