Amsterdam – The fact that the court orders the criminal prosecution of the former ING top executive, astonishes lawyer Gabriel Meijers, the legal brain of financial activist Pieter Lakeman. It has also never happened before that a system bank driver has been identified as suspicious. Yet for Meijers it is certain that Hamers was aware of the failing supervision of money laundering at ING.
