In the launch trailer of Cyberpunk 2077, the Polish developers took care of hide a last color message Pantone 3945C of which they have the secret for the community, with thanks and promises for the future, at the very end of the video.
The studio talks about the future of the game and its additional content program. If the promises for the extensions are blurry, even though important choices and an impactful story are mentioned, those for DLC free. There will be 4 “programs” of DLC free, and surely more updates, with cool and varied content. Knowing that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt had offered weapons and equipment, quests or features like the New Game+, all ideas are allowed. In all cases, details are not expected to be given until early 2021.
The wait for Cyberpunk 2077 is almost over. It was a great trip, and first of all we want to thank you all for being with us on this trip. We know there are a lot of expectations surrounding the game, and very soon you are going to be able to decide whether or not we have lived up to it.
Launch day is a mixture of excitement and constant nervousness, and seeing as it’s the first game we’re releasing that isn’t called The Witcher, we’d be lying if we said we weren’t anxious to see. what you think of it once you bite into it. With this launch trailer, we’re ready to turn on the power and see Cyberpunk 2077 go from our hands to yours. We’ve tried to create our game with the most immersive one so far, and we believe the stories waiting to be discovered and the relationships you form away from your time in Night City will stay with you for a while.
We mentioned that expansions were coming and although we are not ready to go into details yet, we will say that we have learned a lot from our work on Hearts of Stone and Blood & Wine. Our Expansion Schedule will take you deeper into the world of Cyberpunk 2077, delivering consistent scripted content that will require you to make tough choices to deal with an impactful narrative that you’ll struggle to forget.
But before we get to that, we’ll first be releasing 4 free DLC programs in early 2021. As with The Witcher 3, expect an assortment of additional free content coming to Night City, with a bunch of cool stuff that will bring even more life to this dark and futuristic world. We hope you are waiting for them!
