A teenager will have to appear in court for a decision to “joke” in a peculiar way, pretending to be the controller of public transport tickets for “Rīgas satiksme”, reports “Degpunkta”.
The young man has made a document similar to the controller certificate of “Rīgas satiksme” and pretended to be an employee of the control service in public transport. Soon a young man will encounter a bunch of men who have realized that something is wrong with this controller.
Just a few minutes before the evening in “Degpunkta”, the police officers of the capital received a call to Ilguciems, where passengers detained a young man on public transport, who pretended to be the Riga traffic controller. “Three passengers and this young man were met at the scene, next to whom a rather similar” Rīgas satiksme “control employee’s certificate was thrown on the ground,” says Toms Sadovskis, a representative of the Riga Municipal Police.
Eyewitnesses have seen the young man several times, getting on public transport. The young man himself, with a false certificate, claimed that he was not a fraudster and asked to be explained.
One of the police inspectors continued the conversation with the witnesses, while the other inspector went outside with the apparently upset detainee.
“I understand that I am guilty, but I have not deceived anyone. I’m nothing… I just wanted to be told… I just wanted to make fun of people. Just get inside, beep your ticket and let people show, ‘I’ll take it,’ ”he said.
Although the young man himself claimed that his intentions were completely innocent, he was clearly aware of the troubles involved. Therefore, initially standing as if nothing had happened, suddenly began to run until the police were forced to stop him.
“He could not run more than two meters because the staff caught him in an instant. In this case, taking into account the violation, the young boy was taken to the State Police and it was found out that he is only 16 years old, ”says Toms Sadovskis, a representative of the Riga Municipal Police.
Criminal proceedings were initiated against the young man for forgery of documents. Accordingly, it was established that he had acted as a leader of hooligan motives – he had prepared the document, as he put it, for “prikol”, and he had no intention of gaining material benefits. As a result, the young person will incur Criminal Liability, which may be reflected throughout his or her later life, as such an offense does not go away and can then affect his or her future career and life in general.
