Since the beginning of the test series on August 1, there have been a total of 470 positive cases in the NFL – with 173 players and 297 employees of the teams. In total, there have been more than 757,000 tests since the start, the league announced on Tuesday.
In the past week, 18 other NFL professionals tested positive for Covid-19, plus 27 members of the function teams – a total of 45.
By December 5, 16,475 tests were carried out on 2,427 players and 25,194 on 4,585 team members.
There are strict corona regulations in the league, but the teams are not shielded in so-called bubbles.
