Coronavirus – The ban on flights to Poland extended until the end of the year. Where we will not go [lista]

The new list of places prohibited from flying to Poland will cover nine countries – according to the regulation of the Council of Ministers, published in the Journal of Laws. The regulations will apply until the end of the year.

The current regulation on air traffic bans will expire on Tuesday. The new flight ban will take effect on Wednesday, December 9, and will remain in effect until Thursday, December 31.

The draft regulation on air traffic bans was adopted by the Council of Ministers by circulation on Monday. The final version of the regulations was published in the Journal of Laws.

Ban on flights to Poland extended

The ban will apply to airports located in the territory of:

4) the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan;

7) the Republic of North Macedonia;

9) United States of America, with the exception of airports located in the territory of the states of Illinois and New York.

There have been no changes to the list as compared to the current list.

The existing exceptions also remain in the regulation. The ban will not apply to flights, among others carried out at the request of the Prime Minister, carried out with the consent of the President of the Civil Aviation Authority, carried out for the needs of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Poland and chartered before the date of entry into force of the regulation at the request of the tour operator or entity acting on his behalf.

In Poland, planes will also be able to land “from airports located in the territory of the countries which have notified the Republic of Poland of the introduction of solutions ensuring that only passengers with negative results of the SARS-CoV-2 diagnostic test will be accepted on board the aircraft” .
