The popular Colombian youtuber, Julio Ríos, better known as “Julioprofe”, got the record of the online math class with the most people online at the same time.
The math teacher went viral, for more than 11 years publishing math videos explained in a didactic and entertaining way, which has made thousands of Latin Americans can clear their doubts of this matter and of Physics.
This has made he wins the affection of many people, that without his teachings he might have had problems at school. So thousands decided to support him in the pursuit of the global feat.
The record was sought to be broken during the event Recrea Academy 2020 organized by the Ministry of Education Jalisco, Mexico. Where the Colombian engineer would try to give a class with a huge number of followers.
The call of the Ministry of Education of Jalisco and Julioprofe fEU responded by 213 thousand 586 viewers, who connected from all over Latin America, to appreciate the effort, dedication and support of the math teacher. The previous record was 1,500 viewers, which was sharply surpassed.
