Such information was received by the RMF FM reporter Grzegorz Kwolek from the spokesman of the provincial sanitary station in Bydgoszcz. On Saturday, many people took part in celebrations in Toruń. Government representatives were present, incl. Minister of Justice Zbigniew Ziobro.
There is a requirement to cover the nose and mouth throughout the country, including churches. There is also a limit of people in churches: it is a maximum of one person per 15 square meters, while maintaining a distance of not less than 1.5 meters.

According to a government ordinance, temples must cover the mouth with the nose, with the exception of worshipers.
Most of the clergy did not wear face masks. On the occasion of the 29th birthday of Radio Maryja at the Sanctuary of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Star of the New Evangelization and St. John Paul II in Toruń was attended by the leading politicians of the ruling party – the head of the Ministry of Justice Zbigniew Ziobro and the head of the Ministry of Defense Mariusz Błaszczak, the deputy minister of climate and the environment Jacek Ozdoba, the deputy minister of justice Michał Woś, the vice president of PiS Antoni Macierewicz and the MEP of Law and Justice Ryszard Czarnecki.
Member of the Left, Joanna Scheuring-Wielgus announced that it would submit a notification to the prosecutor’s office regarding non-compliance with sanitary and epidemiological requirements during the mass on the occasion of the 29th anniversary of the establishment of Radio Maryja. In her opinion, during the ceremony, not all who are required to do so wore masks.
“In our Toruń, young people walking in the streets have been recorded recently. Toruń Police, where are you now?” the politician asked on Twitter.
