Begins to work already next Wednesday, in Vila Real, the call center that will actively monitor cases of infection with the new coronavirus. It has 14 technicians provided by the municipalities and 13 health professionals.
O call center of the Douro Norte Health Center Group (ACeS) was created in partnership with the seven city councils in its area of influence. It aims to “support the activity of Health in the scope of the response to the Covid-19 pandemic”.

The health authorities of Wuhan, the Chinese city where the first cases of Covid-19 were diagnosed, returned this Monday to detect traces of the new coronavirus in packages of frozen products imported from Brazil and Uruguay.
The local health commission says it has detected traces of the virus in packages of frozen Brazilian pork and Uruguayan beef, after carrying out nucleic acid tests last Saturday.
In the case of pork from Brazil, traces were detected in containers of a batch of pork from the company Seaa Alimentos, which entered the city of Shanghai on 28 June and was later transported to Wuhan on 27 July.
As for the Uruguayan veal, the exporter is Breeders and Packers Uruguay, whose affected batch first arrived in Malaysia and, since March 2, was stored in the port city of Tianjin, in northern China.

India recorded 391 deaths from Covid-19 and 32,981 cases of the disease in the past 24 hours, according to data from the Indian Ministry of Health.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, India has accounted for more than 9.6 million cases of the new coronavirus (9,677,203), remaining as the second country with more infections, behind the United States, which in the last balance had more than 14.7 million.
With 140,573 deaths since the start of the pandemic, India is the third country in the world with the most deaths, after the United States and Brazil, according to the Johns Hopkins University count.
The country currently has 396,729 active cases of the disease.

Point tolerance
The Government gave tolerance to public officials, calling on the private sector to follow the same path.
Those who miss work to care for children under the age of 12 or with disabilities or chronic illness will have absences justified, but will not earn.
Anyone who does not want to miss a day’s wages can put a day off, even without an employer agreement.
The measure serves to make life easier for the educated inmates, since schools and daycare centers are closed.
New risk map
The Metropolitan Area of Lisbon shows a positive evolution.
Eight counties went down to high risk: Amadora, Cascais, Odivelas, Oeiras, Seixal, Setúbal, Sintra and Vila Franca de Xira.
In these counties, the curfew ends at 13:00 at the weekend, which also means that the commercial hours also change.
The municipalities of Lisbon, Loures, Almada and Barreiro remain at a very high risk, that is, the curfew remains at 13:00 at the weekend.
The picture in Portugal
Another 87 people died in Portugal in 24 hours, according to the latest epidemiological bulletin from the Directorate-General for Health. There are an additional 3834 confirmed cases of infection.
