United States president Donald Trump has confirmed that Rudy Giuliani, his lawyer, has tested positive for COVID-19.
Giuliani, 76, has found himself in the news a lot over the course of the last month, first with the hair dye incident and then his fart during a public hearing, coupled with his thus far unsuccessful attempt to win a case into possible voter fraud in the US election.
“Rudy Giuliani, by far the greatest mayor in the history of NYC, and who has been working tirelessly exposing the most corrupt election (by far!) in the history of the USA, has tested positive for the China Virus,” Trump tweeted as a sign of support whilst also blaming China for the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Get better soon Rudy, we will carry on!!!”

Trump himself tested positive on October 1 and was hospitalised the next day. However, he then returned to the White House a couple of days later.
