Corona in the region and Baden-Württemberg (as of December 6): Corona virus in Bretten, Karlsruhe, Rhine-Neckar and Enz districts

Region (kn) In the city and district of Karlsruhe, 9,389 people (+149 compared to December 5) are now infected with the coronavirus on December 6th. Of these, 7,118 6,999 people (+119) recovered and 211 people (+0) have died. The disease is currently active in 2,060 (+30) people in the city and district of Karlsruhe.

Coronavirus in the Karlsruhe district

So far, 3,571 corona cases (+62) have been confirmed in the city of Karlsruhe. Of these, 770 (+7) are active. 735 Corona cases (+6) are now known in Bretten, 113 people (+1) have an active disease course. In Kraichtal there are 174 (+1 infected and 52 current cases (-1)). In Bruchsal there are 525 (+3) infected and 96 active cases (-4). Sulzfeld has 113 infected people (+1, 13 current cases), Zaisenhausen 24 infected people (+0, one current case), Gondelsheim 61 infected people (+0, 15 current cases) and Oberderdingen 166 infected people (+1) and 39 current cases. 39 infected people (+1) and 14 active disease courses are reported by the municipality of Kürnbach. In Walzbachtal 142 (+1) people tested positive for the corona virus, 15 diseases are active, in Pfinztal there are 178 infected people (+7) and 37 current cases. All figures are as of December 6th. The 7-day incidence in the city of Karlsruhe is 106.1 and in the Karlsruhe district at 129.6 (as of December 5, 4 p.m.).

Coronavirus in the Rhein-Neckar district

In the Rhein-Neckar district, the number of confirmed cases on December 5th was 7,226 cases (+83 compared to December 5th). In the meantime 119 people have died in the Rhein-Neckar district (+3). The disease is currently active in 1,387 people (+80). 5,720 people have recovered (+0). The 7-day incidence in the Rhein-Neckar district is now 162.3 and in the Heidelberg city area 154.2.

Coronavirus in the Enzkreis

In the Enzkreis there were a total of 3,094 positively confirmed cases (+136 compared to December 3) and 45 deaths (+0) on December 5. 2,438 people have already recovered (+41) and 566 (+50) people have an active disease course. So far there have been 2,562 cases (+108) and 22 deaths in Pforzheim. 2,008 people have now recovered (+107). Currently 532 people have an active disease course (+1). The 7-day incidence is 359 in Pforzheim and 382 in the Enzkreis (as of December 5).

Location in the RKH clinics

In the clinics of the Regionale Kliniken Holding there are currently 196 beds available for Covid-19 patients in normal wards on December 4th. Of these, 120 beds are currently occupied. The Rechberg Clinic in Bretten has 24 beds, 15 of which are occupied. In the Fürst-Stirum-Klinik in Bruchsal there are currently 26 beds for Covid-19 patients in normal wards, 13 of which are occupied. A total of 113 beds are available in the monitoring and intensive care units of the RKH clinics. Of these, 102 are occupied, 24 of them with Covid 19 patients. There are currently a total of ten intensive care beds in Bretten, ten beds are occupied, none of them with Covid-19 patients. 24 intensive care beds are available in Bruchsal, 20 are occupied, five of them with Covid-19 patients. All numbers are as of December 4th, 9 a.m.

Location in Baden-Württemberg

In Baden-Württemberg, as of December 4, 4 p.m., 162,388 (+3,391 compared to the previous day) could be confirmed. A total of 2,978 (+60) people have died and 113,267 (+2,525) have recovered. Thus 46,143 people are currently ill. The incidence nationwide is 140.0. According to the health department, according to the data from the DIVI intensive care register (www.intensivregister.de) of hospital locations with intensive care beds for acute treatment, 434 COVID-19 cases in Baden-Württemberg are in intensive care, of which 258 (59.5 percent) are invasively ventilated . A total of 2,422 intensive care beds out of 2,962 operable beds (81.8 percent) are currently occupied.
