Also the most recent episode of the 2nd season from The Mandalorian again held all kinds of exciting information ready to expand our understanding of the “Star Wars” universe. A character who finally made his big appearance in the episode mentions the Mandalorian Civil War almost in passing.
We want to take a closer look at this conflict below and show you why it was such an important event in the galaxy far, far away. But Warning, SPOILER ahead!
Before The Mandalorian: This happened in the Mandalorian Civil War
The Mandalorian Civil War played a prominent role in the new canon in the animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars. After centuries of conflict on Mandalore, a politically extremely fragile entity developed on the planet. Duchess Satine wanted to end up for one peaceful future use while your opponent is a Return to the old warrior traditions of their people.

The various Mandalorian clans continued to fight each other until Satine finally got one Demilitarize their homeworld ordered. In said comics, Jango was from Jaster Mereel adopted and fought by his side in the war before later working as a bounty hunter.
The series leaves open how much of the Legends area has now been adopted into the canon regarding Jango Fett, but it clarified the long-standing issue of whether he and his son Boba were true Mandalorians or not. We may find out a little more in this regard in the coming episodes of “The Mandalorian”, which are always exclusively on Disney + on Fridays.
