The OPPO Reno5 5G series is slated to launch in China on December 10. A well-known Chinese informant also leaked that the global edition of the Reno5 5 series will also debut in December. It is said that the global version of Reno5 Pro 5G will be powered by Snapdragon 765G.
Meanwhile, in the Chinese market it is stated that the Snapdragon 765G will power the Reno5 5G and the Dimensity 1000+ will be present in the body of the Reno5 Pro 5G. The leak claims that the global version of the Reno5 Pro 5G will not appear alongside the Dimensty chipset.
Previously, the informant from China also claimed that while the global edition of the Reno5 Pro 5G will have 65W SuperVOOC 2nd generation charging support. Meanwhile, the global version of the Reno5 5G will have the first generation SuperVOOC 50W charging technology.
It is said that OPPO will also present the Reno5 Pro + 5G which will be powered by Snapdragon 865. The smartphone will also be marketed in China and is expected to arrive with a different camera setup compared to the Reno5 5G and Reno5 Pro 5G. The Reno5 Pro + 5G may not be launched in the global market.
As far as the other specifications of the Reno5 Pro 5G are concerned, it is expected to borrow most of the specifications from its Chinese variant. In China, the Reno5 5G and Reno5 Pro 5G are expected to arrive with 6.43-inch and 6.55-inch OLED display panels, with FullHD + resolution and 90Hz refresh rates and with a punch-hole design.
Both are also expected to arrive with a 32 MP front camera, four 64 MP rear cameras (Sony IMX686), and a 4,300mAh battery with support for 65W fast charging. It is estimated that the Reno5 5G and Reno5 Pro 5G in the Chinese market will be sold at 3,299 Yuan (Rp7.2 million) and 3,899 Yuan (Rp8.5 million) respectively.
