The New York Knicks 2020-21 schedule

It’s ready, it’s official: the calendar for the 2020-21 season is finally out! The program for the first part of the season only, until the cut of an All-Star Weekend which we do not yet really know what it will look like. Without further ado? Focus on the schedule… for the Knicks!

New season of your favorite reality TV, with this year the Anonymous Angels Obi Toppin and Tom Thibodeau to brighten up your evenings. The victories will perhaps be counted on the fingers of two hands until March, but let’s go, let’s analyze this Stations of the Cross calendar. Seven games against a competition exclusively from the East to start, just to quickly validate the last place, punchline, a rather calm month of January and a month of February… rather calm?!? Spoiler, it’s going to be a lot of fun when the Knicks are at 6-31 at the start of March and the second part of the calendar offers them a much tougher menu.

# Plus long road-trip : 4 matchs (Cavs, Raptors, Pacers and Hawks from December 30 to January 5, then Warriors, Kings, Blazers and Jazz from January 22 to 27)

# Longest home session: 5 games (Spurs, Wolves, Warriors, Kings and Pacers, February 20-28)

# Matches on national air: 5 (Spurs, Magic, Sixers, Celtics et Nets)

# Nombre de back-to-backs : 8 (including a back-to-back-to-back (!) in January against Orlando, Cleveland and Boston).

# Number of early meetings in France: 6, That’s a good news.

# Three posters to remember: January 14 against the Nets, so that the Madison audience can appreciate a New York team with good basketball players, March 1 for the Franco-French meeting between Killian Hayes, Sekou Doumbouya and Frank Ntilikina, and, come on, the 6th February, to see Carmelo Anthony again pacing the slats of a room he knows rather well.
