Last day, 526 cases of Covid-19 were diagnosed in Latvia, nine cases died / Day

Three of the deceased were between the ages of 65 and 75, five between the ages of 75 and 85, and one between the ages of 90 and 95.

During the last day, 5822 Covid-19 tests were performed in Latvia, of which 9% were positive. The SPCC has previously explained that this figure is considered important in the European Union, as above 4%, the spread of the disease is considered to be rapid and uncontrolled.

In Latvia, a total of 21,313 people have contracted Covid-19, but 1,866 people have recovered.
