Gary Lineker has praised Olivier Giroud, Tottenham Hotspur’s target on Twitter, for his performance for Chelsea against Leeds United.
The former Tottenham striker was impressed with Giroud during Chelsea’s Premier League game against Leeds at Stamford Bridge on Saturday night, and believes he could be the “most underrated striker in the game”.
Giroud scored for the Blues in the first half. He followed the former Arsenal forward scoring four goals for Frank Lampard’s side in their midweek win against Sevilla in the Champions League.

Would Olivier Giroud improve Tottenham Hotspur?
Harry Kane and Son Heung-min are in good shape at the moment, while Carlos Vinícius is also an option for Tottenham head coach José Mourinho up front.
However, Giroud is a proven scorer, and his ability to score goals from inside the penalty area and be a suitable target would make Spurs better and add a different dimension to their attack.
That said, it must be admitted that it is difficult to see Chelsea approve of Giroud’s move to Premier League title rival Tottenham mid-season.
